What started as a simple addition plan, expanding the front of the home and adding a second story, quickly turned into a bigger decision. After further investigation, the existing foundation was compromised, so the homeowner made a thoughtful choice: tear down and rebuild from the ground up. Starting fresh ensures a safe, solid, and long-lasting home built to serve the family for years to come.

Before construction began, we finalized plans, secured permits, and carefully addressed the unique challenges of the site. The compromised foundation needed to be fully rebuilt, and the lot size required maximizing every square foot without sacrificing flow or function.
Once ready, the old home was taken down, creating a blank canvas for the new design. Every step of prep work focused on ensuring the new home would be structurally sound and built to last.

The project is underway! The subfloor is complete, and framing has begun, some walls are rising, giving the first glimpse of how everything will take shape. This stage is exciting because the home starts to feel tangible, with spaces beginning to take form even before finishes are in place!
There’s still work to do, but the foundation is solid, and the vision is coming to life. As framing continues and the home develops, each stage will bring it closer to the bright, welcoming space the family envisioned.
