A Fresh Start for a Master Suite

The goal for this project was to update a dated bathroom and create a space that felt more open, functional, and connected to the rest of the master suite. Along with improving the layout, the homeowner also wanted better storage and a clean, timeless look that would hold up for years to come!

Ludington, MI
To make that vision happen, the layout needed a thoughtful refresh. By extending the shower, adding a pocket door, and improving the connection between the bathroom and closet area, the space now feels more open and easier to move through. These changes helped make better use of the existing footprint without adding square footage.

Reworking the Space

Clean, Functional Design

The updated bathroom balances function and style. A custom tiled shower with a built-in niche and subtle marble accents creates a clean focal point, while a sliding glass door keeps the space feeling open. A new double vanity and recessed medicine cabinets add the storage the homeowner was looking for, all tied together with simple, brushed nickel finishes.

Bringing It All Together

To finish the space, we carried new trim and fresh paint throughout the bathroom and into the bedroom, creating a more cohesive feel. We also added a new closet to improve storage and make the layout more practical. What was once a dated bathroom is now a comfortable, and highly functional master suite, designed to not only look better, but work better for everyday living!
