A small, overlooked nook in this Manistee home became the inspiration for a stylish and functional half-bath. By reimagining the space, we were able to add convenience and elevate the home’s design, making the most of every square foot.

Turning Unused Space Into Function

The Homeowner’s Vision

Manistee, MI
The homeowner wanted to transform an underused corner of a room into a beautiful and practical half-bath. The goal was to create a small, functional space that feels open and inviting while adding a touch of luxury.

Making Small Spaces Shine

Working with a compact nook presented unique design challenges. The space was tight, requiring careful planning for plumbing, fixtures, and layout to maximize usability without making it feel cramped. We needed to incorporate natural light, ensure functional flow, and select finishes that enhance the small space.

From Plan to Perfection

The project showcases meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful design:

  • Custom tile flooring: Every tile was laid by hand, with radiant heat for comfort.

  • Pedestal sink: Maximizes floor space while keeping the half-bath functional.

  • Triangle window: Existing window floods the space with natural light, making the room feel larger.

  • Elegant finishes: The homeowner chose a striking tile and a gorgeous gold faucet to elevate the design.

Each element was carefully planned and installed to ensure the space feels open, luxurious, and perfectly tailored to the home!
